Very RARE AMAZING CROCODILE JAW SECTION WITH 4 LARGE TEETH, Natural, Indonesia
Here I have a very rare fantastic display fossil on offer. To save 10% visit my fb page, search "the workshop Brading". This thick upper jaw section and its 4 teeth are in fantastic natural condition, there is no restoration or repairs. Please not these are not re set teeth they are original teeth as found!! Measures approx 113mm x 90mm x 33mm. Little information is avalible for these fossils as so few are found, further research maybe required but from what I can see the species is likely to be Crocodylus sp, find location the Soho river valley, Java, Indonesia. Age most likely early to mid Pleistocene: 2 million to 200,000 years old. Whats amazing about thiese fossils is its likely early Homo Erectus would have seen these large Crocodilians and early humans may well have been on the menu for Crocdylus! Measures approx 100mm long, 70mm high 30mm wide.
The surface jaw bone of this specimin has been polished to try and show the tone, texture and colour of the bone better. This fossil is very stable and solid, it has had no human presivation treatments and does not require any presivation, it is very solid and stable.
