Here is a very rare very early vintage original large autographed page of Fuzzy Knight and George Burns from 1936, with the autograph of singer and actor James Melton on the reverse. Direct from the autograph book of a young girl who was visiting Hollywood with her family. Knight got his start in vaudeville and once even led his own band. He broke into films with an un-credited role in Night Parade (1929), the first of his over 190 movies and TV shows. Some of his more memorable performances include Mae West's bumpkin cousin in My Little Chickadee and a rare dramatic role as Tater in The Trail of the Lonesome Pine (1936).

George Burns (born Nathan Birnbaum; 1896 - 1996) was an American comedian, actor, writer, and singer, and one of the few entertainers whose career successfully spanned vaudeville, radio, film and television. His arched eyebrow and cigar-smoke punctuation became familiar trademarks for over three-quarters of a century. He and his wife Gracie Allen appeared on radio, television and film as the comedy duo Burns and Allen. At the age of 79, Burns experienced a sudden career revival as an amiable, beloved and unusually active comedy elder statesman in the 1975 film The Sunshine Boys, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Burns was only a Tony Award shy of being one of the few EGOT award recipients in the American entertainment industry, winning an Emmy, a Grammy, and an Oscar. Burns became a centenarian in 1996, continuing to work until just weeks before his death of cardiac arrest at his home in Beverly Hills, shortly after his hundredth birthday. James Melton (1904 -1961), a popular singer in the 1920s and early 1930s, later began a career as an operatic singer when tenor voices went out of style in popular music around 1932-35. His singing talent was similar to that of his contemporary Richard Crooks and baritones John Charles Thomas and Nelson Eddy who sang popular music but also had operatic careers.
