This is a rare survivor from the early days of London Transport, circa 1920's-30's it is an enamel bullseye (long before the roundel) and in 3 sections mounted in a solid light oak frame, dimensions of the enamel sign only are 5ft x 4ft (46''). Full details of the design are shown on the London Transport Museum website. This bullseye design is the 1925 one by Edward Johnston and there is a diagram on the transport museum website. The sign is in super condition just one chip as seen in the picture, it is very heavy and therefore collection only. 1920/30 LONDON UNDERGROUND TRANSPORT enamel sign.
